#Bosch benchmark dishwasher vs boschsgx68u55uc series
My daughter just bought a bosch 800 series with the crystal dry abd my way rack. It cleans well - both Bosch and Miele do - I have used both fairly extensively. I also preferred the Miele racking system particularly their 3rd rack. I decided on the Miele due to the auto open drying system as it was the best system on the market 5 years ago. It does have a red light on the top left that is somewhat visible while running but you do need to bend down to really see it. Nick - what do you use the floor light for? To know that it is running? To know when it is done? If you get a miele model that pops the door open then you know when it is finished. But I have more than 30 emails and records of phone called trying to resolve the issue. It was installed, the defective one removed, and all is well. Then they had to find it, which fortunately they did. They agreed, then they sent the new dishwasher (not signature required) to the wrong address and left it there. Then we asked if they could replace the dishwasher instead. They said it had a defective part and that the replacement part was back ordered 8 weeks. The store that sold it to the builder referred us back to Miele USA in NJ. It was a new build and it came up during the inspection that the dishwasher (brand new) was malfunctioning. The other dishwasher was brand new and therefore under manufacturers’ warranty. The first required hard to get parts (from Germany) but the extended warranty company paid for them, the parts finally arrived, and after 5 weeks, the issue was resolved. I am a realtor and have had two clients with Miele issues in the last year. I’ve had mine for three years and it’s great.
